Upgrading processors & voltage settings

I was just wondering about this. I currently have a Palomino XP1800+ running at the default 1.75V in my MSI KT333 board. If I were to upgrade to a Tbred with a default voltage of 1.65V, would I need to manually change the voltage in the BIOS before I installed the new chip, or would the BIOS autodetect the new chip and apply the correct voltage?

I'm sure the extra 0.1V wouldn't hurt the new processor, but I was wondering how that would work.

btw, the T-Bred A default voltage is 1.50v while the T-Bred B default voltage is 1.60v while the Barton's default voltage is 1.65v
