currently running the OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700W PSU in my rig, but I'll be upgrading the system next week when the parts comes in.

the system will look like this:

i7 920 @??? ghz (hoping for a good result :D )
6GB ram
HD5850
2x DVDRW
WD Caviar Green 2TB
x25-m 160GB
x25-m 80GB
5x 120mm fan

possibly another 5850 in the future for xfire, not sure yet though.

any thoughts?

:p

but seriously, that PSU is going to be just fine. albeit i just read a thread that they discontinued those models, but it doesn't much matter. OCZ has a pretty solid warrenty and you'd probably just get an updated model.

You could probably run even the 600W model, but if you plan on going xfire, the one you choose is probably better.

Oh, grow up, for Christ's sake. :\

OP, that PSU is fine. It's really more like a decent 600W, but that should be good for what you're doing.
