I wanna upgrade my current pc and replace the cpu, mobo, ram & video card.
I want the best price/perfrormance ratio, I never buy the latest card - never good value. I wanna overclock this system (1st time i'll try that). Anyway suggest good overclockers with good value.

There are about 30 "help me buy a new system" threads this week, you should read a few of them to get a better idea of the choices and costs.

current pc -
athlon tb 1.4 ghz
epox 8k7a
2X crucial 256mb 2100
WD 80gb hdd 8mb cache
asus gf3 card
hercules gtxp
asus cdrw x32
toshiba dvd-rom

as I said, I wanna replace cpu, mobo, memory & video card.

cheap oc: read the "bduget" threads that discuss XPs, get an AMD

faster, more expensive oc: Abit IS7 and P4 2.4C oc it to 3.0 GHz (also discussed in several of the "new rig" threads, and the Abit IS7 thread in Motherboards).

Both have been detailed many times in the existing threads.

ed: for video, some people are getting 9800 non-pro and overclocking to pro levels, though that only saves you $50-75.
