As per my previous post, looks like the AM2 4800+ and 5200+ will not be coming out. :( So, with that said, I want to do minimal upgrading as possible. Conroe is not an option. I was thinking x2 3800+ or x2 4400+. I need suggestions on a mobo that still runs AGP. Thanks in advance anandtech'rs! ;)

Ok, I've decided to go the ASROCK 939. Still undecided with the CPU (x2 3800+ or x2 4600). I'll be doing some gaming, websurfing, and some photoshop, nothing too drastic. I have a stick of 512 Kingston(pc2700) ram. Should I stick with that or upgrade to 1 gig? If so, what would be the best ram for my buck. I will not be OC'ing.

You should try to get at least 1GB of DDR400. Maybe go to a single-core A64 to save the necessary $. :)

Edit - What's your video card?

blasphemy!! single core might be ok for your solar-powered calculator, but some of us are trying to run the internet here.
