I currently am looking to upgrade my gpu, I currently have a zotac amped gtx570. Looking to hitting the store and getting a new gpu, I was looking at the 660ti and the 670, but the 670 is about 100$ more, I was wondering if it were worth the extra 100$ to get the 670? Also another question, would the 660ti in SLi smoke a single 670?

Forget SLI grab a 670 instead. 660Ti will be faster but it won't do that well in heavy duty games. From AMD side you can also give 7950 a look.

I am probably going to stick with nvidia, always been an nvidia fan, went ati once and had a bad experience. What do you guys think about galaxy as a brand? Is it good? Or should I stick with the well known evga?

Is it true that a 7950 will out perform a 670 in bench mark numbers?

No. The only reasonable upgrade for you would be the GTX670 (if you prefer Nvidia) but In maximum 6 months time a new generation of cards will be out.

And that long time is 6-12 months as new and intensive games are already out which don't play on ultra at 1080p with a single 670 even with AA off.
