Upgrading my Computer

I have a Asus K7N266-C motherboard with a Athlon XP 2200+, and I want to upgrade to as fast as I can get it so I can use the 9700 Pro like it's supposed to be used!
Does anyone have any ideas on the fastest processor I can use with my motherboard? I'm not planning on upgrading my motherboard. Also, I've never installed a processor before, so is it easy to remove and add a new one, and could someone that has never done it before (but has built the rest of the computer before) do it without problems?

if it can support a 2200+, i i don't see how it couldn't support a 2100+ 🙂

installing a cpu is SUPER EASY.... even a monkey could do it.... you just have to becareful when you put on and take off the HSF ...
