Upgrading mobo, ram, cpu. watercooling

Yeah unless you have imminent plans for SLI, I would buy a less expensive Intel chipset board.

I think i might be doing that, but I want a reservoir that sits outside.

totally ridiculous the 8800 that I bought in march is now mid 200s.

should I upgrade my vid card again since the GPU water blocks are going to be $130 then get a cheaper mobo? I'm not sure when I'll be doing SLI, if ever. Never did it with my current setup.

 
If you like the look, build your own w/ Koolance shrouds and risers, It may take some modding and a little research but I know it can be done rather easily. Check the drawings for sizes and screw placement and you'll be ok.


For vid cooling I use blocks and memsinks rather than full cover to avoid this problem. Currently I have a MCW 60 w/ the Dtek unisink but that in itself is a whole different mod, Dadgum swiftech and Dtek don't play nice!
