I currently have 512mb or PC2700 running at 333mHz. I'm pretty sure the memory is generic ram also. I've been thinking of upgrading to this: http://www.newegg.com/app/view...=20-145-440&DEPA=0 but wanted to know if it would be a waste of money or not. I do alot of gaming, and use Adobe Permire Pro 7.0 often which is a memory hog. My system specs are:

P4 2.53GHz
ATI 9800 pro
60gb HDD
200gb HDD
512 Pc2700
DVD-ROM
NEC DVD-RW 3500

What is your mobo?

Generally speaking more RAM is good! Another 512 of 2700 would be fine too!

Go for it. But I say your wait for better deals at the Hot Deals forum. FRY's had that kit for $99 on BF.
