Upgrading memory on older Compaq PC

Hello

I have a 2000 year model Compaq 6450NX

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=bpb11683

with 504 MB showing on Computer Properties. It apparently has DDR memory. If I want to expand it to 1GB, what "memory speed" (PC2100, PC2700, etc) and MHZ speed I am looking for (333, 400, etc)

this is an older computer and just want to make sure I get the correct memory

With all the choices on Tiger Direct, Amazon, etc, I wanted to check here.

Thanks
