Upgrading memory in Turion notebook?

I have a Turion ML-30 based notebook with two memory slots, each currently with 256MB, and I want to add more memory. Is it true that Turions do not have a dual channel mode and that it will be ok to upgrade just one of the slots?

Yes, Turions on use single channel. And yes, you can upgrade only one DIMM.
