Ok, I need to upgrade my PC.

I have a AGP MSI 6600GT vidoe card and PQI 512 (2x256) dual channel (w/ TCCD).
FSP Group (Fortron Source) FSP530-60GNA ATX 530W Power Supply 115/230 V

I want to go with a 939 socket AMD and a good reliable motherboard that will allow my to overclock... :)

I wash think of this CPU
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3200BPBOX - Retail
or
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3000BPBOX - Retail

But I at a loss on the motherboard, I want a really good motherboard. I read reviews but they confuse me...
but I was thinking:
MSI K8N Neo2-F Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce3 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
or
EPoX EP-9NDA3J or the + (I dont know the differences) Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce3 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

Thank you,
David

well how much overclocking do you want to do and are you experienced with it? if you plan on going beyong 2.4GHz, definitely go DFI for your motherboard. if you're on a budget, save the $40 or whatever and don't get the 3200, get the 3000 so u can add more ram. u really do need 1 gig

You said REAL good motherboard but you listed an nForce 3 mobo?
Are you going PCI-E? then... you'd get nForce4.

the reason for the nForce3 mobo is to keep my AGP.
Some1ne is the Asrock any good? I will try to find some reviews on it...

But all sounds good and I do plan on upgrading to 1 g or 2 g of memory.

ASRock is a subsidiary of Asus. There's a review of the board right on the main page of this site:

http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2524

...I haven't heard of any other boards that support AGP and PCI-E simultaneously with socket 939, but if you can find another one, that would be worth considering too.

read Some1ne's link. i read it a day after it came out. the ASRock is up there with all the expensive boards and isn't a bad overclocker. it actually beats some other motherboards. definitely a good buy

Great, i read reviews and I am thinking of getting this board with the A64 3000+.
But I have a question and I may have to contact Thermalright about this.
Will the NB-1 chipset cooler fit on the chipset?

Thank you.
