If you plan to upgrade from your Ti4600 to a 9600 Pro or 5700 Ultra, I will say that it is a very bad idea.

dude, thats like buying a bike for £1000 and getting some real cheap tacky pedals.. ok bad example lol.. but your PC is nice, it deserves a 9800 pro.

edit:secondly, i consider going ti 4600 To those 2 cards, a downgrade.

Consider at least a 9800 Pro (or a FX 5900XT if you prefer nVidia over ATi) if not higher for such a nice system. Getting a 9600 Pro or FX 5700 ultra would be such a waste especially since the FX 5700 ultra is only about $20 cheaper than a 9800 Pro yet the peformance of a 9800 Pro is so much better.

I think the 9800 Pro is the sweet spot now for getting the best bang for your buck.

Going from a 4600 to those cards is not a downgrade. Maybe a little faster without AA and AF but turn them on and the 4600 gets killed.

I would recommend a 5900xt or a 9800Pro both would be worlds better than the 5700U or a 9600XT. For the 590)XT i would recommend MSI 5900XT-VTD128 (Comes with VIVO and OC's to Ultra speeds) for the 9800Pro i would recommend the MSI RX9800Pro (faster RAM allows for 9800XT speeds).
