Good choice.
I myself had an nVidia card since 1998, then I decided to 'upgrade' and found a deal on an ATI Radeon 7500. Opps! Should have stayed with nVidia. The Detonator drivers are so much nicer.
They have nVidia cards at school so I still get to mess with their drivers a little and some of the new features are very nice. Although they may be Windows 2000 and Windows XP specific.
Be sure to get the Detonator Drivers from
www.nvidia.com.. Since most companies use those and modify them, usually just adding crap. The detonators have been in constant development since 1999, so its hard to go wrong with them.
Also, if you like tweaking and having some fun, check out
Coolbits.
The nVidia Detonator driver has a built in over-clocking feature called coolbits but its hidden by default so 'newbies' dont go and wreck their system. Its a simple reg key edit to enable coolbits.
