Okay, I am just downloading and flashing CM9 for my Sensation before I run it :p

Good. As a heads up I am using Chrome for both Sunspider and Browsermark on ICS. I am also doing Quadrant Standard,
Antutu, Linpack, GLBenchmark 2.1.1 offscreen for both Pro and Egypt, and Basemark ES 2.0 Taiji. If you are doing any different tests let me know!

I tend to use CFbench ( Chainfire ) its a pretty good test of general CPU performance :) My download speed is terrible today, I should be able to let you know by tomorrow of my scores!

Great! I will do CFbench too. I need tonight to get ICS on my SGS2 as well so that everything can be comparable.

Here is my stock speeds Exynos SGS2 as an example of the difference in GPU power:

The Skyrocket and my regular SGS2 are the same resolution, so GPU is all the difference.

huh why would that be? 0.0

Using Juice defender or Advanced Task Killer, or any of these "power saving" apps actually ends up using more power. It is constantly running in the background, killing some processes the os needs, so the os starts them back up, which the app than "kills". Rinse repeat.

I'm quite happy with this score. Beats both Krait and Tegra 3.

Juice defender is an exception. Juice defender doesn't kill apps. It turns off GPS and data when it is not needed etc. For example it can turn off all data including 3G and WiFi but then turn it on every say hour to allow emails to come in.

JuiceDefender works pretty well when you configure it correctly. The pre-made profiles are kinda sucky tbh.

That one does pretty good in increasing battery life.

Don't worry about bench mark scores as long as your phone feels smooth and quick enough for what you do with it.

btw LTE is really fast. I just got AT&T LTE, I get 30Mbps down and 10Mbps up consistently on SpeedTest. Though on some locations I get only 10 and 1, still plenty fast.

Ok so I thought about it and since the Tegra 3 is a quad core it is not fair to compare it with all four cores. So I locked out two and ran Browsermark again:

Here is the two cores locked:

So Tegra 3 cores seem fairly capable.

I tend to agree with you. As long as I feel good about how my phone runs its good enough. It would be nice to have a Exynos chip but I also like my LTE quite a bit. With LTE my ping is around 60 and my up/down is around 30/10 just like the above.

Anyways I got the Note. And my ES Taiji benchmark score is 16.63. Hopefully that will be sufficient for 3d gaming. The note is freakin awesome, screen is amazing. Huge and high res. Love it so far.

That is exactly what I got too and its huge HD screen is awesome. I don't care much about 3D games since I find that the most addicting Android games are mostly 2D anyway. If I have a choice I maybe pick the Exynos version with slower 3.5G but have longer battery life, but no such choice in the US and I'm not willing to shell out $700 for a smartphone.

I just realized that I think I paid for my iphone with my Amex which should add one extra year of warranty coverage. I will check my receipt when I get home tonight. If so, they will reimburse me for $180 to repair it. Wonder how much I can get for it one ebay now...mmmm.....

<--Happy Camper :)

AMEX just credited my account the $323 I paid for my iPhone back in June of 2010.

:). This is why I purchase everything I can with my Amex. Free double the manufacturer warranty on every purchase and you didn't even have to pay for the ripoff Applecare!

Put the picture on Imageshack.us, or imgur.com or some other publicly visible location. Then in your browser, right-click on the page showing the picture and select "copy image URL" or "copy link to image" or whatever your browser has. Then in your post here, type "["IMG"]" and put the link in, and then end it with "["\IMG"]". And leave out the quotes - I needed them so that it didn't try to link it instead of displaying it.
