Upgrading from Intel i5 750 for gaming

This topic is old. But 4GB of ram made it hard to even web browse sometimes if I had a lot of tabs up. Fire up a game on top of that and it was a halt. 8 GB of ram is the sweet spot for me. I'd even go up to 16GB to be safe sometimes. I hate having to close and open things. I'd rather just leave everything open.

Just make sure the system is stable before you hand it over. My i5-750 overclock worked fine for a while then it started to fail. I just lowered the clock to 3.2GHz rather than try to figure out what the problem was. (The problem is probably the $34 ebay motherboard I'm using lol)

4GB is fine...ROFL. FIREFOX is using 4GB. RAM is cheap...no reason NOT to go with 16.
