I have already paid for the upgrade, and was wondering if A, I can still cancel and get my money back, and B, if it is worth it. I paid $320 for my 7800GT, and the 7900GT I am getting sell for $295, is it still worth the upgrade even though it is a cost downgrade?

Also, I have heard of a lot of problems with them, are the issues with having to declock it, and other things still there?

If you were me, would you pay $30 to upgrade from a regular clocked 7800GT, to a regular clocked 7900GT?

The reason I am is that I heard they compare to 7800GTX's, but if there is any truth in this, I know not.

The 7900GT is about as fast as a 7800GTX, you shouldnt have any problems with it and is worth the upgrade.

I haven't heard anything of that nature. Not around here at least. Not unless you're confusing a overclocked 7900GT that had to return to stock speeds.

If I am not mistaken, you can cancel as long as you have not shipped your card. I think that was in the email. So, they should refund you what you paid if you cancel.

But, before canceling think about what you want to do with your 7800. I mean you can probably get a 7900 now for a low price if you wait for a good deal to come up. But, what will you do with your 7800? You will not be able to sell it for much considering that whoever is going to buy it from you can also get a 7900 instead.

A 7900gt is faster than a gtx so.... Id do it. Thats where im at right now as well.

Also a stock 400mhz 7800gt is even a larger gap between a 7900.

No probs here with my 7900GT other than the fact I can't OC past 625/1700, but that gave me 10100 in 3dmark05, while my max OC on 7800GT gave me 7950. It is VERY much worthwhile...
