Upgrading from an 8800gts 320mb

I built my current computer around mid 2007. I now use my 42" Vizio 1080p as my monitor. I mainly play Lord of the Rings Online, Fallout 3, whatever else catches my eye and use my computer for watching HD movies/shows. I'd like to be able to play LoTRO maxed out at least.

Current setup:
500w Apevia PSU
e6400 2.13ghz
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 mobo
8800gts 320mb
2gb ddr2 800

The choices I'm tossing around are: upgrade to a gtx260 216, upgrade to a gtx275, upgrade my mobo to an SLI compatible mobo and get another 8800gts, OR upgrade other parts first and wait for the next gen of cards coming this fall.

Thanks!

Ha, link says it's now up to $162 AR. My 8800gts is EVGA, I've not had a problem with it and there's always the step up program.

Looking at this card on newegg.

The MSI is a bit cheaper and has the fan/pipe system going on...

I went with the XFX and a new 650w power supply. This will be my first XFX card...hopefully it doesn't bite me in the ass!

XFX is usually solid. Plus you cant go wrong with the 2 games.

Enjoy!
