Upgrading family computer and my own computer

I have about $175 for a new proc so what do you guys suggest? I really want a shiny P3 700@933, but I still need to do some x-mas shopping. Are there any major p3 price drops coming up? I could go for another Celeron but I'd rather not if I could get a P3. How's the o\c ability of a P3 550E? And how are those new stepping celeron's in o/c'ing? The family computer could use an upgrade too. ;-) Thanks.
