Hello, I'm upgrading from

I7 920 (1st gen)
Asus p6t Deluxe mobo
24gb memory 1600
gtx 570
antec 1200 case (falling apart by itself)
1080p asus 120hz monitor

Upgrading to:
i7 5820k
asus x99 deluxe
16gb 2133 memory ddr4
corsair 760t case
corsair h110 water cooling?
Video card???
4k 60hz monitor by samsung

So I guess it's been awhile since I've upgraded, and back then watercooling was just getting out the gate and didn't seem worth my time to spend so much money on it. Well, I make a decent wage now and so here I am. I'm fairly savvy on building and what not.

I haven't done it since my last upgrade and I'm not really sure what model would work best. H110 might be overkill, but I do want to attempt an overclock to 4ghz and see if that is possible. Might be too much.

As for the video card issue, is it really worth waiting to see what nvidia offers in September? I was thinking perhaps buy the 760 to hold me over til the 20nm versions that may or may not be out by Spring.

My goal is to at least get 30fps on high quality in 4k gaming. I also do a lot of photoshop (enough that I make a living at it) and some minor video work. Color accuracy isn't a major deal but the samsung monitor does get close enough with calibration. So I know I will be set for that at least.

What I don't know is cooling for overclock, and some insight on video cards.

Thanks in advance for all your help! :)

This whole thread worth a look but you might be looking to go larger perhaps and rebuild everything.

Might be worth looking at with what you posted up there all ready.

*edit* your 1200 is falling apart ? just asking I have one that's pretty modded just seemed odd. I guess maybe because it is modded to begin with, yeah I've replaced every fan in it over time except the 220 on top, and a few things.

I never did like the stock ones, they didn't last long 6 years ago.

Yeah the 1200 fans have all died, the drive bays aren't easy to move, I take them out a lot to swap and it's the worst experience ever.

The side panel doesn't like to stay on and the grill has popped off for some unknown reason. The fan that was on the side panel one day just fell into the cpu and on top of my video card after that the grill just eventually came off.

I'm not exactly rough with my things, but I do have to remove the side panel and unplug the hard drives then slide the bay forward, and this is a 4 or 5 times a day routine. One of the reasons I want a new tower... just after constantly removing these things they've fallen apart. I blame myself but... yeah it's just falling apart. I really liked this tower but I have abused it.

This is why I like the 760t, side panels are easy to open with a latch, the drivebays are screwless just pull them right out. So much easier on me and the tower.

Thanks for the link!
