Another problem (with a K7S5A system / 1000 mhz duron /256 Crucial ddr / 32 MB TNT2 ) - Mouse freezing after about 30 minutes - I have upgraded BIOS and drivers etc with no change . PS- is 300w "AMD Approved" . Any suggestions ? - thanks

i flashed the bios on the K7S5A mobo.. everything went fine through boot up and everything.. however once i entered the amiflash command and the new bios.. it confirmed evrerything and i said ok and it started flashing the bios.. the little bar went all the way through.. then the screen went black and the computer makes this "beep beep" sound.. then pause.. then "beep beep".. and so forth.. been doin it for awhile now.. anybody know what the deal is??

ME TOO! I spoke with ECS and they think the BIOS is burnt out???

I've had the same trouble with flashing, however luckily I was able to recover using the method posted above. Give it another try perhaps? Just turn off the pc after the 4 beeps.
