Currently I am running a P4 2.0Ghz with 512mb PC2100 and all that jazz.
I am planning on getting a new computer sometime in the next 4-5 months, and was wondering if I should wait until the dual-cores come out to get a new one. Do you guys think that the first gen duals will be worth the money over a typical system.
Currently I am looking at a P4 3.6ghz, maybe the 3.73Ghz EE, with a gig of DDR2 RAM a 6800GT, and all the normal stuff. I am debating whether to build it myself which I have never done, or to buy it from a company such as Dell, where I get around a 600 dollar discount.
If you need anymore information, let me know, and any advice is greatly appreciated.
