Upgrading a Pentium MMX - Help

Hello:
I have a Pentium MMX 166Mhz prossessor and according to Wcpuid 3.0:
Host Bridge: ALi Aladdin 4/4+
South Bridge: ALi M1533

The FSB can go up to 83Mhz and the Multiplier up to 3x or 3.5x, dont remeber very well.

My quetion is:
Can i use an AMD K6-2 500 Mhz, do the 2x to 6x trick, and set the FSB to 83 Mhz, on the same motherboard (6x93=498)?

I don't think so, you would be better off getting a super socket 7 mobo, then would be more stable.

it might work hunt down the motherboard manufactuer and look for a k62 bios maybe at the systems website.
