Upgrading 780Ti, $750 budget, suggestions?

I've already purchased an EVGA 980 Ti Classified but am second guessing my decision. Was thinking about getting an Asus 980 Ti Strix instead after reading that a few folks are having trouble overclocking the Classified.

What video card(s) brand/model would you buy as an upgrade for the rig below? Also, would you keep the 660 Ti as dedicated PhysX?

-Monitor: Asus 27" 1440p PG278Q (G-Sync)
-Primary GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Superclocked
-PhysX Dedicated GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti
-CPU: Intel i7-4770k (O.C. to 4k+)
-RAM: G.Skill 16GB (8GBx2) DDR3 PC3-14900 1866MHz TridentX Series CL8 (8-9-9-24)
-Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87 LGA 1150
-Power Supply: Corsair AX1200
-SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB

Currently rotating through playing Fallout 4, Black Ops III, Battlefield 4 and The Witcher 3.

Linus had a few videos up showing that the classified cards aren't really worth it. The SC+ ACX 2.0 GPUs from EVGA get more or less up the same frequencies and for lower cost.

I got a such an EVGA 980 Ti SC+ right now, bought it this week for $599 (we won't see new GPU for at least 9-10 months and I upgrade every year anyway) and I'm very happy with it. Never go SLI, though. You probably weren't, but just as a pre-caution.

Sorry for any confusion. I have both a 780 Ti and 980 Ti. The 980 was just purchased to replace my 780 but I'm second guessing my decision. Specifically, wondering if I should have gone with something other than the EVGA Classified, possibly an ASUS Strix.

I saw the EVGA 980 Ti SC+ but missed the deal. Ended up paying $680+tax for the Classified.

Prefer to stay away from SLI but know it can make a huge difference in some games. The last time I went SLI I lived with the fact that I'd need to toggle it on/off occasionally depending on the game.

As far as overclocking is concerned, almost all 980Tis will overclock very similarly. IMO, the biggest differentiator between 980Tis is warranty support and/or noise levels. As far as warranty is concerned, EVGA is one of the best, if not the best. As far as noise levels are concerned, I have picked MSI Lightning 980Ti LE over any 980Ti.

If you are regretting spending extra on the Classified for performance reasons, this should be a non-factor as it should overclock to 1475-1500mhz just like most after-market 980Ti cards:

Sell the 780Ti and 660Ti. No need to keep those cards for PhysX.
