ExcaliburMM, I know you have been irritated with some of the responses, but I am glad to see things are working out. Your 920 build will be a great, upgradeable investment.

Good luck.

@lopri I'd like to know what 450w you had handling that kind of load. Had to be a Corsair or something. :p
Yes it was a Corsair VX450. I should have added a 3rd reason for 620W - I like modular cables a lot.

Good luck with the 920 build. I think it's a sensible upgrade and the difference will be huge going from an E2140.

Since the OP has now gotten an answer (or new questions, depending on how the new plan goes) let me say what bothers me in some of the threads in this forum. When an original poster starts her/his quories, there are certain posts/posters that are not interested in the OP's need or want, but in asserting their 'opinions' on predictable subjects - AMD v. Intel, Dual-core v. Quad-core, CPU v. GPU, X58 v. P55, and so on.

I have nothing against anyone presenting her/his opinions, but there are right threads for those opinions. Plenty of them, if I may add. But instead, they prefer to deride other's choices/opinions in inappropriate threads or they just want their opinions to prevail in every thread, however removed such opinions are from the original post or whether such opinions were asked or not. For those, a distant 'hook' is all there to be needed. I'm thankful that I spend most of my time here in Motherboard Forum. It'd drive me nuts if those were what I had to deal with.

Well, So what's this rant about? I just wanted to take this opportunity to pay homage to Markfw900 (and BFG if he ever comes to CPU Forum). :p
