I've been having problems for a few weeks getting my main system to start. See thread Here. I haven't got time to screw with it anymore, I travel 4 and 5 days a week and my wife dosen't like messing with it. Anyway time for some upgrading. Take a look at my sig and recommend an upgrade! Let's keep it around $500.

Those are some good choices but the only thing they have in stock is the MB. I want to order something now!😀

I have a Zalman CNPS7000-AlCu that I'd like to use so I might have to go with a mico board. The ATX boards leave the CPU too close to the PS to work with my case. :frown:

What about this Card? Anybody using it?
 
wouldn't micro ATX be just as near the PSU, considering the I/O ports are on top anyway? All depends on the manufacturer, I guess... I always put the HS/F on before I set in the mobo.
 
Guess you are probably right, never thought of that.😱 I'm thinking about just going with a new CPU, MB, Ram, and VC and calling it good. Newegg has the 2.8C for $215. Maybe it's time to try Intel for awhile.:Q It's been awhile. So what about a MB? Maybe be one of Intel's own. I don't overclock just want it stable at this point. I've got the CC out help me pick.

Well I went the Intel route. 2.8C, Asus P4C800-E, Muskin memory, and a 9800 AIW. What buget? 😀 What can I say.

How much and what speed of ram.... Nice system. /little hand with scissors extends from rb56's computer and cuts up his credit card.
