upgraded to IE6.0, hotmail won't log on.

my friend was using IE 5.0 I supposed, and his itchy-finger upgraded it to 6.0, then all of the sudden he cannot sign-in at Hotmail.com,
I mean he can load www.hotmail.com, but when he enter the account and password, the page won't continue to load. he tried MSN Explorer, it still won't work
 
I have 6 and I have no issues w/hotmail.com Only thing I can suggest is that he check is Security setings and make sure they aren't too high. Also, hotmail requires cookies, so make sure those are completely shut off.

IE6 has a privacy setting. If he's blocked a cookie and instructed IE to always block cookies from that site, he might be blocking his own login without knowing it. BTW, if that's what he's done, I don't know offhand how to "unblock" a site. 😱
