I have feeling this bot will make a debut at the Tokyo olympics! It sure can do more moves than the average human now! Wonder if any custom silicon is in that thing to process the huge amount of sensor data.

They've been around for a while, used to be part of Google X and is now acquired by Softbank - massive capital infusion and hopefully faster time-to-market!

The only real limitation i'd imagine is the power supply. Moving that much mass that fast has to require ridiculous amounts of power.

More likely to see its debut at the Allahu Akbar Olympics in some third world country, competing against fighters carrying weapons from the 1960s.
