Upgradeable Xbox 360 graphics..?

I was talking to some one I know and they said that the XBOX 360 would have upgradeable graphics, I told him that it would be next to nearly impossible for them to do this. One reason is that all people would have to be able to play these games, he then told me that they would do this and treat it like PC gaming in the sense that it says "the following requirements" opposed to just an XBOX.. Agian, this makes no sense, therefore defeating the purpose of the console. He also told me that (after me saying I'd prefer the PS3 over the XBOX cause the PS3 should be more powerful) he agrees in the sense that the ATI video cards suck because they run games like sh!t. I then asked him what video card he has, he then told me he had a Radeon 7500....
