I have a pentium D CPU . Dual Core. 2.66GHZ . i want to upgrade my video card from a 7300 Le to a 9600 GSO. would this card bottleneck ? i was looking at this thinking if i tried going higher got 9800 GT it may bottleneck. i just need something to play CS:S max settings smoothly. i kno css is a more a cpu hungry game but i barely ever play in server with more than 12 ppl

Bottleneck some yet GSO is 10x faster than your 7300LE. You might want to look into 4670 if you don't have a 400+watt quality power supply.

The 9600gso seems to be the better of the deal from what I found at newegg.canada. It has 768mb of vram and 1000mhz memory. Pretty much even with 9600gt. Although the fan runs 100% all the time since it doesn't have fan header you can easily do a 7 volt mod without cutting up wires on the video card to get rid of noise.
