I want to upgrade my GPU to soomething better. I curently have ASUS 7600GT.

I would like to get something in range of 250-300$ US that has 512 MB memory

I'll be using this baby to play mostly BF2 and CoD2

Any recommendations?

What this guy said, but its true that the X1900XT is faster. However unless you OC the hell out of the 7950GT (600+/1600+), the 7950GT wont be able to beat the X1900XT in most games.

However, the GT has its pros. Single slot, low power consumption, low noise and EVGA warranty+step up in this case.
