upgrade video card

I am thinking about upgrading my video card, and I am looking for suggestions. I currently have an asus geforce II, and it works fine, but I think it is time to move on. Also, I want to replace my sound card, and I was wondering what you would all choose... I really hate supporting creative!!!

For sound cards the snanta cruz is a nice little number...

Coming from a geforce 2 I would only go up to a geforce3 ti200 at minimum...I think there are many for sub 180.00...GF3's will run you just over 220, but I hear the ti200's can clock to regular gf3 numbers...

as of right now i woulod go radeon 8500 for about 210 shipped... running right on par with the Regular Gf3... but with 1 more driver update.. it will surley surpass the Ti500! 😛

If everything you've got runs fine on the Geforce 2, why upgrade? Myself, I'm waiting for games to actually take advantage of the Geforce 3/Radeon 8500 features before I upgrade my Radeon LE.

For sound cards I would get a fortissimo II, great sound card and only costs 33 bucks. If you really feel the need to upgrade graphics card I would get either an 8500, or a variation of the geforce 3.
