Not looking to spend more than 200$ if possible... I was looking at the AMD XP's and their line.. I need as many PCI slots as possible, and the best bang/buck/speed XP Processor I can get. Would be willing to overclock, so if I can get a good overclocker that would be nice. Mid-tower case is all I need. Please, help :)

Bill

p.s. I plan on sticking with pc133 ram, otherwise i would definately go over my budget

With RAM dropping the way it has, you may not have to go over much :)

Epox 8RDA ~$95 shipped
T-bred B 1700+ $55 shipped
512MB PC2700DDR $80-90 shipped

You'd get a much newer platform and a much better overclocking board.

If you plan on overclocking, you'd probably be better off getting new RAM and using an nForce2 board. As long as you get a T-Bred B, the multipliers are unlocked (the T-Bred A may be as well) and it's rather easy to overclock. You could just get 256 MB of RAM for now and that should keep you under $200 getting the components Chizow recommended.

I have just recieved an 8RDA+, and a T-Bred B 1700+ (1.47GHz), and I'm currently at 1.93GHz (31% overclock), default voltage, and 40C. Not even breaking a sweat :)

Chiz thanks for your recommendations, I think i'll go with that :)
Two things things though. Where can I get this stuff (links?) and where can I get a good case w/ a good quality PSU. Can't be much more than 16 inches tall and 9 inches wide. Thanks so much :D

I'd go to Mwave get their generic PC2700 for $67 (512mb) the PC2100 is just a tad less

is their 1700+ a tbred B? and how overclockable (and stable) is their ram? I was looking at their bundles but didn't see the epox or the nforce..
