Hello guys first post here :sneaky:

I'm planing on upgrading my current system

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550
Nvidia Reference 680i
2GB DDR2 667Mhz
PNY 9600GT

To the following

Intel Core i5 750 with Titan Fenrir Cooler
Gigabyte P55 UD5
4GB DDR3 Sector 5 1333Mhz
Sapphire HD5770

I was just wondering if i'm making a good choice as i've been out of the loop for a while

Make sure you get the "limited edition" Fenrir that has the 1156 bracket.

There is no such thing as a P55 UD5. There are the P55A-UD3, P55A-UD3P, P55A-UD4P, P55A-UD6, and P55A-UD7. There is an X58 UD5, but you obviously don't want that. You should just go with the UD3, it will do everything you need.

The Sector 5 RAM seems expensive for what it is. You can get 1600MHz G.Skill Ripjaws for the same price.

Other than that, (CPU and GPU :awe🙂 it looks fine!
 
Yes thats the one limited edition it says

also this is the motherboard GA-UD5

it seems a pretty good price

and yeah the ram seems abit pricey i think ill look for some deals.

You should have mentioned UK! That board is not sold in the US anymore because the whole series has been replaced by the P55A series. That board is definitely not worth the premium over the GA-P55A-UD3.
