It's almost my yearly CPU upgrade time. Currently I'm running a 3700+ San Diego at 2.5 and am looking to upgrade. This is a NON-GAMING machine that is used for intensive Photoshop work and Video processing....

My current choice is the Opteron 170 Denmark dual core at $399 from newegg... Looks like a solid overclocker.

Is there anything else in that price range I should be considering? 4400+ X2 Toledo at $460 looks like a contender.

Thanks.

I would wait for conroe too. If you want something now go with the 165 or 3800 if your going to overclock. 165 retail comes with a much better stock cooler so that would be my choice.
