Upgrade question

Thought of doing a small upgrade for my pc...a budget upgrade...
plan to get a celeron 1.3 and asus TUSL-C mobo...(no, i dont want a duron instead )
since i'm on a tight budget...and i need to use most of the existing hardware from my current pc....i will have to take a celeron....because i dont want to spend money getting new (DDR) ram ... probably a new case with PSU > 250w ... and extra cooling for the system....

now the question is....how much performance gain can i see from the upgrade ? on games, net surfing, application work (MS office) ? or do you think there's any budget upgrade better than this ?

You'd get a pretty good boost for your games, as the faster CPU can allow your GeForce 2 Ti to get towards its full potential.

Anything above 500MHz is more than enough for surfing and MS Office, so you won't notice much of a difference there.
