Upgrade Question

I currently have a system I built a long time ago consisting of:

Motherboard: A8V 1.0
CPU: AMD FX-53
Memory: 1Gb PC3200 Memory
Drive: Raptor 74Gb SATA
Video Card: 6800GT 256Mb

Anyhow I found out a game I am looking forward to really needs a 512Mb card. I don't have PCI Express and don't know much about it. I also want an ATI card just for a change of pace. Is there a AGP 512 ATI-chip card available or coming out soon? Thanks.

So you have an FX-53, a raptor, and a 6800GT and you didnt bother to go with PCIe?! Whats a "long time ago" mean to you?

Why do you want an ATi card "just for a change of pace?" Biggest bang for buck is definately in the nVidia camp. Its looking like ATI is going to be a full cycle behind nVidia. Not to mention the benefits of SM3 with the "old" line of nVidia cards (6xxx). What up coming game "needs" 512?! My current 6800 GT OC hardly even warms up with current games.
