upgrade question

Right now i have a 2100+ on NF7-s Rev. 2.0 running at 2.2 GHZ. I am looking into getting one of the 2500+ barton from newegg and i was wondering several things.

1. How fast can these processors run.(2500+ Barton)
2. Does the extra cache give a good boost in performance in realife. (Theoretically i know it does)
3. Does the Barton run cooler than the 2100+(idle 52.50C) (Load ~56-58C)

1. around the 2.2 range
2. extra cache gives 3.5-5% performance boost
3. it will run cooler

personally, i dont think it's worth the upgrade since the barton OC is gonna be real hit or miss. just my 2 cents

they did three not too long ago, varying results (same vendor, same time)
worth a look, i wouldnt get one planning to oc it myself though

For math stuff, the extra cache gives a siginificant performance advantage. The time it takes a Seti@home result on my box was cut by about 1/4 when I put the 2500+ in.
