Upgrade Question: Radeon VIVO to Radeon 8500

With the falling price of the 8500 I decided to take the plunge and upgrade from my Radeon 64Mb VIVO. I am wondering since the drivers are unified now, will I have to do anything except just replacing the new card with the old? Will the 6032 drivers I have installed now recognize the new card and the new features on the 8500 be enabled, or am I going to have to do anything a little more involved to complete the installation?
