I have a PC with:

Asus P5A-B
168 pin DIMM memory
AMD 450 K6-3+ CPU

Considering:

EPOX 8KHA in order to keep memory
AMD Duron 1.1 or 1.2 CPU

I think the Epox 8KHA would handle the memory? I have the 8kha+ on a new PC and loved the install.

Any advice?

PC is mainly for kids for games and internet. I think the video is a voodoo 4500 card.

Are you talking about the Epox EP-8KHA and EP-8KHA+ boards? The Epox site lists both as having three 184 pin DIMMs for pc2100 DDR memory. The older 168 pin DIMMs will not work or even fit into DDR slots.
The ECS K7S5A board has two 168 pin DIMMS and two 184 pin DDR DIMMs. You can use either (though NOT both).
Look for KT133 (older) or KT133a (not quite as old) motherboards. They use 168 pin DIMMs. Newer boards are going to DDR memory slots.

Well I THOUGHT that sounded odd that the 8KHA would support the 168 pins. I know I read a review that said it did. But I am sure you are right. K7S5A oughta be cheaper anyway.

Thanks.
