Looks like your i7 6700K processor is selling for around $220-$260 range (completed listings-sold) on Ebay. So sell that baby once you get the new board and cpu up and running. 🙂
 
All up and running now. Seems a bit snappier than before. Although windows won't activate. Odd because this is not the first time I changed boards and it activated before. Originally I had windows 8 on an ASRock motherboard with a 2500k CPU. I upgraded to 10 for free then changed to a gigabyte z170 and i7 6700k. It activated fine. Of course I always cloned my ssd's so all my data is still there.

But now it refused to activate so I have to contact microsoft. I thought they were open in the US for support on weekends or maybe I am just up too early on a Saturday.
