Upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro SP2

Well, everything went smoothly until it started downloading all the Windows Updates. There were 77 of them in all. So I waited until they were all ready to go, and said Yes, install them automatically. I got the Initializing message, then a few moments later I got a message that all 77 updates had failed. What happened???? I try it again: same thing. Rebooot: same thing. Uninstall antivirus software, reboot, try it again: same thing. Help!

Go into the failure code and list out the error code given (at least for the first one)

I had the same thing happen today when I did a repair install so I assume it's a glitch. You can use the Autopatcher to install 95% of the updates, then run WU again to get the other 5%.
