I'm looking at upgrading phones as i'm want more power lol. Do you guys think a Nexus 4 is a worthwhile upgrade from a Galaxy S II ?
Depends on your use case. What do you do with your phone? What carrier are you on?
Generally, I'd say no.
OMG, please change carriers.Avg DWN: 0.60MB/s UP: 0.30MB/s
Peak DWN: 0.80MB/s UP: 0.53MB/s

I've been on T-Mobile, Verizon, and ATT, but I will never, ever switch to Sprint unless they somehow magically develop a good network. Even T-Mobile has respectable speeds in key markets, Sprint just looks like crap just about everywhere.
I have to
But Verizon and T-mobile were my favorite services and the only reason i got this phone was because it was free from my job but now i want to upgrade as the phones performance isn't the greatest and the internet is terrible when not on wifi
So do you guys think its worth switching to a Nexus 4 if not what would you recommend that won't cost to much.
I don't think Nexus 4 is compatible with Sprint, only with GSM carriers like ATT and T-Mobile, and even then only with 3G or HSPA+.
There might be a new LTE/CDMA Nexus 4 coming this month, though.
what area of memphis? It was one of the early network vision areas and has launched lte with what seems like a pretty decent footprint.

in fact, the at&t and sprint lte coverage looks pretty on par, but at&t has more of the suburbs covered. Not that the n4 is lte compatible to begin with though.
No i want to switch services to T-mobile as Sprint's Coverage in my area is horrible

So, west of Bartlett? Looks like you have Sprint LTE coverage there. Punch your zip in the coverage map and check it out.

Oh ok, I was confused there.
Definitely get the Nexus 4, then, if you want to get an unsubsidized phone.
If you don't mind getting a subsidized phone I heartily recommend getting the HTC One. I'm very happy with mine.
Then if you're looking to bail, I'd probably only look at AT&T. They have most of the area covered in HSPA, so that means even if you're not in a LTE area, you'll get decent speeds, as opposed to Verizon where you'll drop to EVDO and get the sprint level speeds you're used to. And Verizon's network is "pockety" in that area. We have some field engineers in Memphis and they constantly complain about their air cards switching between LTE and EVDO.
Your only other major choice is TMobile. But it's going to be a joke once you get outside of the city.
Sprint's coverage map is basically lies. They're assuming no buildings to interfere with signal or terrain obstruction.
What can you not do with your phone? I use a GS2 and it does anything I could need
I havent tried Netflix or Hulu but youtube and multiple tasks work on mine
