Upgrade Firmware of HP drive, OEM is Lite-ON

I was wondering if it is possible to tweak my CD-RW drive so that the firmware can be upgraded with the use of the Lite-On firmware. When I tried doing it, I get the following error:

ERROR:

Can't found LTR-16102B firmware: OS01-OS2Z drive !

This flash utility only supports LTR-16102B firmware: OS01-OS2Z

Detected drives:
--------------------------------------------------------------
0-0-0 F: HP CD-Writer cd16r OKS3

Is there any way I can reset the firmware? Thanks in advance.
