Upgrade advice.

I was wondering if it was worth not going for a A64 in feb, and instead going another route.
£420 was gonna buy me a 3200 and a mobo.
Would i be better of going P4?
My aim for this upgrade was to upgrade to a 3.0ghz or 3000 PR rating for a processor.

Suggestions?
& when can we expect the first 939 mobos to appear?

Do you mind if i ask you a few questions?
Whats the K8V like? Im torn between that and the MSI K8 Neo.
Does it do Cool&Quiet? Any drivers needed to use that? (Like the ones on the AMD website), or does windows have the drivers built in?
Is your mobo passively cooled? or activly? Cos part of my upgrade is a CPU/mobo waterchill kit, and im not sure wether to drop the mobo block.
What 3dmark 03 and 01 scores do you get?
Is your 9700pro happy with your fsb being at 220? Cos i heard that 9700s are picky about agp speeds.
