Basically lookin for advice or obvious conflicts/problems that i'm just not aware of with this new gamer config/build. Last upgrade was 2008. Out of the loop for a while. Want to keep it around $500. Want to try an Intel this time around for sure. I have used Geil RAM for over 10 years and had no probs. No prefs other than that. USA build and I like ordering from newegg, short ship times. I dont normally overclock, but I might do my homework and try. Native res is 1650 x 1080. I WILL make my order during April. Thanks.

New stuff
Intel Core i5-2450P Sandy Bridge 3.2GHz (3.5GHz Turbo Boost)--- $200
ASUS P8Z68-V LE ----$133
GeIL Enhance CORSA 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600---$47
COOLER MASTER Hyper TX3 RR-910-HTX3-G1 "Heatpipe Direct Contact" 92mm CPU Cooler ---$20
Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower ---$55
LITE-ON Internal 24x DVD-Writer (SATA type) ---$23

CPU i5-2500K ($205 AP); cannot OC the i5-2450P
Mobo Asrock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 ($105) is better value for money
RAM No particular need to limit yourself to GeiL. Also, that RAM has tall heatspreaders and it's better to have low profile RAM for maximum compatibility with CPU coolers. G.Skill Ares 1600 $45
Cooler Needed only if you overclock or are sensitive to fan noise; if you do OC, buy 212+ for $20 AR, it's bigger and better
Case Good as it's $45 AR, but since you already own two 120mm fans you might as well get the standard Antec 300 for $40 AR AP
