Updating BIOS

I posted a message a week or so ago asking how to get my 200gb hard drive to show up as >135gb. I was told by some posters on here to update my BIOS. My problem is I don't have a FDD and I don't have another one readily accessible. Is there any other way I can update it?

Some board manufacture now has a windows based bios update programs for example Asus Live update or MSI LiveUpdate2.

Although I still personally prefer updating from floppy

You can flash your BIOS off of a bootable CD-ROM, can you not?

Google, man, google! Download a bootable CD image. Check to see if your mobo maker has a utility that allows you to flash from within Windows (last resort.) Or, check with your mobo maker and see if a 48bit BIOS upgrade even exists. Though...I would think that would be one's first step :confused If that all fails, spend the $15 for a PCI controller card.
