...outpost.com had it on pre-sale for $36, but now its $50. Everywhere its $50. The Sims 1 was the greatest selling pc game of all time. This looks to be no different either.

Is your guy living in that desert town with all the aliens? My guy lives in Pleasantville, I wonder if that alien thing can happen there? So far I have my guy doing the romance aspiration. I have the "have woohoo with 3 sims" locked, so I'm shooting for that. Got two down so far, one to go! I want to play more, but my wife hogs he friggen game all the time. She just likes to use the money cheat and build ridiculous houses.

Yea, the neighborhood is called Strangeville. I'm not sure if the alien stuff is strictly related only to this place.

Just had Brandi Broke over, had whoohoo in the bedroom... Than we both slept for about 4 hours before I woke up...

Called Dagmar over, got her done with some woohoo in the hot tub... In the meanwhile, Brandi woke up... But for some reason she went and played on the swingset, lmao...

Got rid of Dagmar, invited Brandi into the hottub... and got round two... or round three...

I was playing today and one of my sims starts a fire in the kitchen. I didn't freak because usually the alarm brings the fire dept. Well this time, they didn't show. So I had one of them call, still didn't show. I had the other call, still didn't show. So I tried to get them to put it out. The wife catches fire, and burns to death in the kitchen. The guy then freaks, grabs the kid, runs outside, but manages to catch himself on fire. He's outside on the sidewalk freaking out while on fire. Meanwhile, some random sim is walking by, and manages to catch fire off of him. He dies, random sim dies, and the baby is left alone sleeping on the lawn.

Yea it was funny. What sucks though is that happened because of a bug. The fire department just would not show up. I've heard a few people report that services just stop showing up for some reason. I don't know what to do to fix it, because they still won't show. I might just start a new game.
