SVC (Silicon Valley Compucycle) has acquired the domain svc.com and is celebrating with a lot of great deals. These guys are a good place to get a lot of stuff anyhow, but now, their prices are even better.

Sales on:

The best deal (IMHO) is the networking cable kit: 6 foot normal cable, and a 6 foot X-over for $.99

make SURE to check how different shipping options change shipping charges. These guys can ship 1st class mail if your just ordering a bag of screws, and postage will be like 2.00$. NO OVERCHARGING! I Love this store...

ordered 5 nmb fans, chose 3 day select shipping....got my package on the 3rd day. sorry to hear about your experiences with scv, but in my opinion they are cool. good product, and no overcharging for shipping, i got 3 day select ups for $6. i love this scv, good post, thanks for the deals!

their prices are very good, but customer service could be much better. went over there to pick up some order and it was not a pleasant experience, like they dont' even care. whatever. good price, bad service. ymmv on good experience.

I think they're cool. They have good price (eg. Thermalright SLK-800 for $29.99), allow pickup, and charge absolutely nothing (no handling fee) for pickup. Sure they don't hire a receptionist sitting at the front desk waiting for people to pickup stuff. But that's okay for me. I figured the more they save on labor, the lower they can price their stuff. I was in and out of there with my order in less than 10 minutes anyways. Not bad at all.

well, I ordered the slk-800 last week and it shipped next day. arrived just fine. I guess it's YMMV. at least they're shipping is reasonable.

anybody every try these 80mm 4 led Fans they have?? just wondering how they would compare to Antecs LED fans.

Anyways, great site, awesome prices, limited selection. I'm glad nothing I ordered yesterday is on sale now, or I'd be pissed :| SLK-800 and some AS Epoxy, shipped same day :D They also charge reasonable incremental shipping based on weight, none of the flat rate crap on a .000001 ounce item like other retailers.

Last week I ordered a bunch of rounded cables 10:00am PST, got confirmation that they shipped the order at 2:00pm. Two days later I got the package.

Woah!!! Early glances on price drops on the following:

1) All 80mm Quad Led fans 3.99 from $5 or $6 yesterday. Pretty good fans, not variable speed but work well with a Rheobus.

2) 80mm Laser Cut fan Grilles for $1.99 :Q:Q:Q

By the way, they probably have the lowest price on the 3gram syringe Arctic Silver 3: $4.99 shipped (via first class mail).

Newegg charges $6 for the AS3, and another $6 for special fedex saver shipping. Total $12.

I've ordered from them three times in the last year w/ no problems at all. Great prices and low shipping.

Its great they've finally got an easily rememberable address, though. Far too much thought was involved before! ;)
time to invest in some more thumbscrews...

They screwed up my order too--gave me the wrong color cold cathode tube. Given their reputation, I decided not to return the order at the risk of them screwing that up too. But at least shipping was FAST. Got it 1 day after I ordered it, but then again, I'm only an hour drive away.

My one order took forever to arrive (at least 2 weeks maybe 3) but it was ground....the nice surprise was the SK7 in the box instead of the SK6+ dont know if they substituted or just screwed up...no explanation
