i love to complain, i'm a perpetual (ageless: continuing forever or indefinitely) complainer. to be honest, i always end up paying too much because i ask for guacamole everytime.

let's turn it around, if i have it for dinner i'd think it's a good deal, strange eh?

I really don't care if it is authentic mexican food or not. Its good. Around where I am, it beats the other options for lunch...subway, burger king, mcdonalds, wendys, without sitting down and ordering "real" food or whatever you want to call it, which I don't always have time for.

For years my fav was a barbacoa burrito, rice, black beans, corn, sour cream, cheese and a little lettuce. + the green sauce at the drink counter.

Oh Man, I love Chipotles. I was out in San Jose over the summer, and lived the chicken fajita burrito. The only thing close to it I can find is Moes, and Moes sucks. When I go to visit DC, I am definitely hitting up the chipotles there.

Gordita's is probably my favorite place...because they give you this FREAKIN' HUGE burrito, that I have to seriously struggle to finish off in one sitting. And that's saying a lot. The have a picture of the burrito next to a newborn baby to show they're about the same size...heh. I have to say it cracks me up on a couple different levels.

this afternoon for lunch, i went and got a what i'd call a gut grenade. steak burrito with both beans, all salsas, sour cream and lett.

big mistake on all four salsas... it was hot and gave me upset stomach. i'm paying for it right now.... ass of fire too.

Chipotle is a high end Taco Bell...
As a mexican.. I compare it akin to calling McDonalds hamburgers REAL AUTHENTIC HAMBURGERS or pizzas from Pizza Hut REAL AUTHENTIC PIZZAS.

Those things they call tacos, burritos and w/e, are so far from it, it's pathetic.
Please do yourself a favor if you're eating there and go to a real restaurant... now if you're only eating there cuz you want something quick, cheap and devoid of flavor or anything mexican... than fine.

I'm pretty sure the chicken fajita I had ~2 weeks ago gave me some nasty food poisoning. Be careful. They have to cut costs so they can hit their earnings targets and keep that stock price up. I guess making sure they use ALL of their chicken is part of it.

It is usually hard to get really good mexican food here in the midwest. I travel to Arizona at least a couple times a year and pig out on all the tastyness.

Last time we crossed the border into Nogales for dinner. Sooo good.

every chipotle i've ever been to has had central american latinos working there. you probably live in a less diverse area. the chipotle back home (maryland/dc area) = authentic as a mothafucka.
