Ok, finally, I am at the lovely task of reinstalling all my apps and drivers...

Any idea why, when I go into "my network places" I can't see any of the other computers on my network (all WinMe) but if I search for them, I can find them.

i have that same prob w/ my network neighborgood.... haven't been able to fix it..... if you go into windows explorer and expand the branch w/ your network you'll see all the comps too...

btw, haven't seen any diff between PS 5.5 and 6.0 on mine....

I upgraded to Photoshop 6.0 myself. I love some of the new features in it. It does run a bit slower though, but with 800 Mhz of computing power, it doesn't bother me.

Funny thing about thata network, it kinda just fixed itself... odd
